Calú is very special because she is our first female. Delighted with her mother and the Firstprizebears beardies in Belgium, we picked her up in November, 2003 in a small village close to Liège. And it was great to come home with that puppy we were in love since the very first weeks of life.

Calú has outstanding movement and nice outline, besides a very feminine looking. The eyes are very dark, and the coat texture is very good, and of easy maintenance. She is also happy and sweet, and is always willing for a good play section. As the majority of dogs from this breed Calú loves children and is never tired of having fun with the little ones. She is very sociable with every person that crosses her way and loves life.

Calú brings a solid pedigree. Her mom is an outstanding female, World CH 2002, European CH 2004, International, Holand, German, Luxemburg and Belgium CH, and VDH. Her father, a scottish dog, has got 2 CCs and 2 RCCs in the diffcult UK championship.

Shows

Our Calú participated succesfully as a puppy in the shows. Showing good attitude in the ring, she always came back home with a nice result. She won several times as best puppy of herding group (10 times in 15 shows).

As adult, Calú has got her precious CACs and CACPABs:

We thank all the judges who have recognised her potential and have oriented us. Calú will wait a little bit now, while she matures, before she goes back to the ring.
